Wellness Seminars– $125 per session


Each seminar topic is taught in one 90-minute session. For some of the seminars we recommend comfortable clothing and yoga mats so that you can participate in the brief experiential segments. Choose one of the following topics for your employees (or you may want to choose multiple topics if you have multiple groups):

  • Breathe, Stretch, and Relax – This is our signature seminar. It provides a comprehensive introduction to the benefits and techniques of Mind-Body Wellness - which include basic breathing, stretching, relaxation, meditation, and optimism. Come dressed to stretch and bring a yoga mat.
     
  • Intro to Yoga Postures – This seminar provides a basic introduction to yoga postures, featuring instruction in proper alignment, benefits, and safety concerns. Come dressed to stretch and bring a yoga mat.
     
  • Corporate Stretch – Sitting all day can make you stiff and irritable! Learn simple stretches and basic breathing techniques that can help you de-stress and feel refreshed without ever leaving your desk. Review the basics of good posture for standing and sitting.
     
  • Eat Right to Feel Good – Review the principles of good nutrition, learn to understand food labels, the Food Pyramids, serving sizes, and caloric content of common foods. Sample some healthy snacks and check out Linda Christy’s recipe for delicious, nutritious greens! (Please have kitchen available.)
     
  • Sensory Awareness - Learn to awaken, access, and understand the nature of the soma – the self experienced as a body. This seminar will help you discover the crux of the mind-body connection. We will focus on identifying and releasing habitual tension and other negative behavioral patterns by ‘listening’ to what we are feeling in our bodies. Come dressed to stretch and bring a yoga mat.
