A: We provide three types of onsite wellness services which include the following:
- Health and Fitness Programs
We offer a variety of one hour specialty fitness classes which are scheduled as a six (6) week session. These classes include Gentle Yoga, Yoga 101, Yoga Sculpt, Yoga for Men, Build a Strong, Healthy Back, Abdominals 101, Stress Busters, Let’s Get Moving, and Tai Chi.
- Mini-programs
If you’d like an introduction to some interesting, contemporary Mind-Body wellness topics, try these 30-minute classes which are scheduled as a four (4) week session. These classes include Corporate Wellness 101, Better Breathing, Meditation 101, Let’s Get Moving, Chi Kung, and Yoga Vinyasa.
- Wellness Seminars
These 90 minute seminars are presented in an educational workshop format. Choose from a variety of topics - including Breathe, Stretch, and Relax, Intro to Yoga Postures, Corporate Stretch, Eat Right to Feel Good, and Sensory Awareness.
A: Our instructors are people who are passionate about health and fitness, and have specialty trainings in various Mind-Body Wellness modalities. They have become experts through their dedication to a personal practice, ongoing study, formal education, and/or certification. We are all fitness professionals.
A: Six-week programs are $350.00. Four-week mini-programs are $200.00. Each 90- minute seminar is $125.00. We bill clients on a pre-pay basis for the six week and four week wellness programs. Once we have decided on the type of program, payment must be made before the sessions are conducted. Credit cards, cash, and checks made payable to Linda Christy Weiler are accepted. These sessions are non-transferable and non-refundable. The only exception to this policy is a Wellness Seminar that will be billed after the seminar is completed.
A: Yes, and we definitely look forward to helping them achieve their wellness goals. The following fitness programs are appropriate for those that are truly basic beginners, sedentary, and overweight: Gentle Yoga, Tai Chi, Build a Healthy Back, and Let’s Get Moving - this low-level cardio program is also offered as a 30-minute mini-program.
Our seminars are great educational resources that provide practical information presented in a user-friendly, upbeat, and entertaining way. Let us enlighten your employees about the benefits of living a healthy lifestyle by learning about basic nutrition, the value of fitness, stress reduction techniques, and more. We’ll show them that healthy changes don’t have to be overwhelming, confusing or scary - and that learning to take better care of yourself is actually a very satisfying experience.
A: We offer three standard time slots for the onsite wellness classes – Early Birds, Lunch Bunch, and After Work. Please select one or two options regarding the day and time for your classes. For example, if you want to schedule an Early Bird class, let us know that you prefer Tuesday, but Thursday would also be O.K. as a second choice. Or let us know if you absolutely must have the 6:30AM – 7:30 AM time slot. We will work with you to accommodate the day(s) and time(s) that fit your needs:
- Early Birds (6:00AM - 8:30AM)
We will cheerfully arrive at your office as early as 6:00 AM any weekday morning. Early work-outs will wake you up and keep your energy steady throughout the day.
- Lunch Bunch (11:30AM - 2:00PM)
A mid-day workout boosts your energy and attitude. You’ll feel refreshed for the rest of the day.
- After Work (4:30PM – 7:00PM)
Wrap up another productive day at work with the gift of health and fitness. Finish the day by taking care of yourself.
*We can also schedule a mid-afternoon workout, perhaps 2:00PM – 3:00PM.
A: Please call or email to schedule a date, time, and location. Make your selection from the list of topics provided, and be sure you have appropriate space available in your facility. For example, for the Breathe, Stretch and Relax seminar you will need to provide yoga mats and plenty of open floor space. If you have additional questions, we will be happy to assist you in choosing the appropriate seminar topic and to accommodate your schedule.
A: We understand that, from time to time, emergencies or schedule changes arise unexpectedly. If you need to cancel or reschedule a seminar, please call or email us at least 24 hours in advance. Wellness classes (programs and mini-programs) will normally not be rescheduled.
A: Yes. We offer a reduced rate for ongoing classes. For example, if you want to schedule ongoing weekly yoga classes (one 60-minute class per week), the fee is reduced to $50.00 per class. Or if you want to schedule ongoing weekly Meditation classes (one 30 minute class per week), the fee is reduced to $40.00 per class. These classes are to be pre-paid, with the full monthly payment due at the first class session each month.
A: Each participant in the Wellness classes (programs and mini-programs) must complete the Participant Information and Release forms that can be printed from this link. Please staple and return these forms to us at least two days before the session begins. Those who attend and participate in the following seminars will also need to complete these forms: Breathe, Stretch, and Relax, Intro to Yoga Postures, Sensory Awareness, and Corporate Stretch.
Yoga mats are needed for many classes, and these must be provided by each individual or purchased by your company to be used for the Wellness programs. For most of the classes, participants will need to dress appropriately for exercising. Please refer to each program description for details.
